About the Foundation

Supo Foundation is a private non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization that receives no federal government or state funding.  All general and administrative expenses are fully funded by an outside benefactor.

In 2005, Supo Foundation was established to provide daily hot meals delivered, free of charge, to participants 62 years and over in the greater Phoenix area.  These 415 recipients were either homebound, without transportation, faced financial hardship or suffered from a debilitating illness.

Given the economic downturn and the identified local need, in August 2009, Supo Foundation transitioned its operations from Arizona to Southern California.  The foundation now operates by providing grants to eligible organizations in Southern California that specifically service health, wellness, housing, and education needs for women, children and the elderly.
